Shuffle Data Breach: Major Crypto Casino Hit by Third-Party CRM Attack
Shuffle, a prominent cryptocurrency casino, suffered a significant data breach through its third-party CRM provider, Fast Track. The attack compromised sensitive user information, including full names, email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers, and transaction histories. Betting patterns and customer support logs were also exposed.
Most alarmingly, hackers accessed KYC verification documents such as driver’s licenses and passports, which were collected to comply with Curaçao eGaming regulations. Partial payment information, including the last four digits of card numbers, was compromised, though full credentials remained secure.
Shuffle founder Noah Dummett confirmed the breach affected a majority of users but assured that account passwords and funds were untouched. Fast Track claims the breach has been contained, but the incident raises serious concerns about third-party vulnerabilities in crypto gaming platforms.
